Mr. Lovell, 84, Mechanicsburg, died at his residence on Saturday, March 10, 2007. He was born on April 3, 1922, in Blandburg, a son of the late Arthur R. and Martha F. (Richardson) Lovell. On August 28, 1948, in Bellwood, he married Irene A. Thomas who survives along with two children Sharon M. McGinty of Carlisle and Duane T. Lovell of Esteen, FL., five grandchildren and two siblings Janet M. Rudy and Arletta Thomas, both of Camp Hill. She was also preceded in death by a brother Farley.
Jack had attended Reade Twp. High School and served in the United States Army during World War II as a Sergeant. He retired in 1981 as a Transportation Foreman at the Naval Supply Depot, Mechanicsburg after 36 years employment. He was a member of the Camp Hill Masonic Lodge #681, the Camp Hill VFW #7530, the Tyrone American Legion #0281 and the Disabled Veterans West Shore #50, Camp Hill.
Friends will be received Tuesday, March 13, 2007, from noon until the 1:00 pm funeral services at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow with Pastor Joe Onder officiating. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
