Irene M. Ryan

     Miss Ryan, 69, Hollentown, died unexpectedly November 21, 2015 at her residence.  Born January 27, 1946 in Altoona a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Muri) Ryan.   Surviving are three children Joseph M. of Coalport, Michael S. of Patton and Mary L. Ryan at home.

Also surviving are five grandchildren and a brother Stephen Barr of Altoona.

     Irene was a 1965 graduate of Altoona High School and had been a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona and the former St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Frugality.  She had been a CNA at Skills of Blair County and Garvey Manor.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Newburg Fire Co., Altoona.

     Friends will be received from 6 pm to the 7 pm memorial services Friday at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, with Pastor Rich Maher officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations be made to the McQuown Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
