Mr. Reitmyer, 89, of Coalport, died Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at his residence. He was born June 8, 1933 in Clearfield, a son of the late Harry W. and Catherine R. (Warrick) Reitmyer. On October 10, 1959, in Hollentown, he married Clella B. Fulton who survives along with a son Harley W. Reitmyer of Ramey and a daughter Edith E. “Edie” (Tom) Kruise of Glendale Yearround, seven grandchildren, one great- grandson, a daughter-in-law Tiffany Reitmyer of Coalport and a sister Sarah C. Huey of Bristol, CT. He was preceded in death by a son Robin Reitmyer, a daughter Christine Hepfer and her husband Craig, two sisters Dorothy Kizina and Patricia Sloan and two brothers James Reitmyer and Hobart Reitmyer.
Bill served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean War. He had been employed at the NARCO Refactory in Curwensville and had attended the Glendale Assembly of God.
Friends will be received at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow on Friday March 31, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and again on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 10 am until the 11:00 am funeral services with Pastor Johnathan Hendren officiating., Burial will be in Crown Crest Cemetery, Clearfield. Military honors will be conducted at the funeral home by the Richard L. Beers VFW Post #7043. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Glendale Assembly of God, Coalport.
