Mr. Kuhn, 94, Rootville, died Tuesday, July 13 2010 at Mountain Laurel Nursing Center, Clearfield..
Known as ‘Lil’ Hobo, he was born March 6, 1916 in Rootville, a son of the late Frank C. and Sarah J. (Windows) Kuhn. Surviving are 2 sons: Harold F. of Outer Banks, NC. and Rodger W. of Allemans, 6 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister Ellen O’Shell and 4 brothers: Clayton, Earl, Russell and Charles.. He served in the Navy during WWII and retired in 1976 from TRW-Jamestown, NY. as a precision grinder. He was a member of the Tyrone Elks, Tyrone American Legion and had been a Great Grand Duke in Hobo’s of America in Britt, Iowa.
Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 Friday and 10-11 am Saturday at the McQuown Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am with Pastor Jon Hommer officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
