Mr. Fox, 91, Allemans, died Thursday, June 29, 2006 at his residence. He was born April 27, 1915, in Allemansville, a son of the late John M. and Margaret (Eakin) Fox. On February 20, 1939, in Houtzdale, he married Mary Gerula, who survives along with a daughter Lydia L. Fox of State College, granddaughter: Cortney Frasier, her husband Mark and their three sons Martin Grier, Gabriel Case and Elliot Price, all of Leesburg, VA., and grandson Christian Case and his wife Eva Aigner, of Anchorage, Alaska. Also surviving is a sister Jeannette M. Harrier of Virginia Beach, VA. and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 3 brothers: William, Archibald and Reuben and 3 sisters: Miriam Keller, Louise North and Margaret Dunlap. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Bellwood, the United Mine Workers of America, the National Rifle Association and had served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He also served in the Air Force as a Corporal during World War II. Friends received Saturday from noon-2 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow where funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Thomas McCoy officiating.
