Graydon Larue Chubb

     Mr. Chubb, 70, of Glasgow, formerly of Williamsport died Monday, March 4, 2024 at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center, Hastings.  He was born August 5, 1953, in Lock Haven, a son of the late Harold and Elleanor (Swope) Chubb, Sr.  In 2002, in Beaufort, NC., he married Brenda A. Dick who died September 26, 2020.  Surviving are seven daughters Christina L. (Charles) Killinger and Samantha M. Howells, both of Glasgow, Marsha L. Stasiowski and Amanda J. Casto, both of Freedom, Sierra N. Campbell of Sayre, Sabrina E. Butler of Steam Valley and Vanessa Chubb in North Carolina and four sons Allan E. Anderson of Williamsport, Graydon L. Chubb, Jr. in North Carolina, Matthew Schuh and Brandon.  Also surviving are eight grandchildren and three siblings Harold “Butch” Chubb of Williamsport, Patricia Vining of Jersey Shore, Esther Geguvis of Linden and two step-siblings Brenda Stably and Kenneth Powers, both of Williamsport.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three sisters Bertha Stevens, Dianno Chubb and Margaret Schroat, a brother Wade Chubb and a step-sister Florence Powers. 

     There will be no viewing.  A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the future.  McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow , is in charge of arrangements
