Mr. Gibbons, 58, of Bellwood, died Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona. He was born December 6, 1967, in Altoona, a son of the late Harry R. and Janet L. (Garrity) Gibbons. Surviving are two children Kayelin Gibbons and Ian Gibbons, both of Warriors Mark and three siblings Stephen Gibbons of Huber Heights, OH., Kevin Gibbons of Colorado Springs, CO., and Molly Lawley of Sarasota, FL. Also surviving is his very special friend Kriss Doughty Hockenberry of Blandburg. He was also preceded in death by an infant sister Margaret Gibbons.
Known as Gibby, he was a 1987 graduate of Cambria Heights High School and had been employed as an incinerator operator for Montgomery County, OH. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Ashville and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Abiding by his wishes, there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
