Mr. Rannels, 80, Redbrick Manor II, Cresson, formerly of Lancaster, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at ARHS-BonSecous HF campus. Born December 26, 1927, in Lancaster, a son of the late Charles V. and Rachel (Shultz) Rannels. On May 6, 1948, in Elkton, MD. he married Dorothy L. Hamilton who died July 2, 2007. Surviving are 3 children Patricia A. Lacock of Vintage, PA., Robert L. of Mountaindale and Mark T. of New Providence, PA. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren and 1 brother Kenneth of Bird-in-hand, PA. Also preceded in death by a son Geoffrey and 2 brothers Charles and Paul. He had served in the Army as a Private First Class during WWII. He retired in 1989 as a stencil maker from Armstrong Cork Co., Lancaster. He was a member of the Roseland Christian Fellowship Church. There will be no public viewing, visitation or services. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
