Mrs. McElheny, 73, a resident of Maple Heights Health and Rehab Center, Ebensburg, and formerly of Coalport died Monday, February 2, 2026, at Maple Heights. She was born January 23, 1953 in Altoona, a daughter of the late George B. and Helen M. (Harpster) Bouch. She married George A. McElheny on July 17, 1971 in Frugality. George died October 2, 2024. She was also preceded in death by two infant brothers James and Raymond.
Surviving is a son Ken (Kim Niebauer) McElheny of Coalport, a daughter Jessica (Rick) Rickard of Sweetgrass, MT, three grandchildren Phylasady Gillam, Morgan McElheny and Rebecca Gillam and a brother David B. Bouch of Duncansville.
She was a 1969 graduate of Glendale High School, had attended the former Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Glasgow and had been proprietor of Getta’s Pizza and Grocery Store in Glasgow for numerous years.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 2:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 4:00 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow. Pastor Ben Warfel will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
