Fred James Warner, Jr.

     Mr. Warner, 63, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Blandburg, Sunday, January 21, 2024, from an apparent heart attack   He was born April 5, 1960, in Tyrone, a son of the late Fred J. and Edna M. (Friday) Warner, Sr.  Fred was also preceded in death by his first wife the former Diane L. Glass whom he married in Ashville on February 2, 1987.  He is survived by his son Michael P. Warner at home and his second wife, the former Denise L. Eckert whom he married in St. Mary’s on February 25, 2012.  Also surviving are four siblings Ernest P. Warner, Sr. and Richard L. Warner, both of Blandburg, Peggy S. Warner of Houtzdale and Elizabeth A. Diehl of Coalport.

     He was a 1979 graduate of Glendale High School and attended Hollentown Assembly of God.  His social memberships included the Smoke Run Croation Club, the Coalport VFW Auxiliary, the Bellwood Eagles and the UVHA Club, Bellwood.

     A viewing for friends and family will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and again Friday from 11 am until the hour of services at noon all at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.  Pastor Jim Chase will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
