Mr. McConnell, 78, Fallentimber, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 3, 2016 in the Miner’s Medical Center Emergency Department, Hastings. He was born August 15, 1937, in Patton, a son of the late William A. and Pearl I. (Simmers) McConnell. On May 6, 1963, in Cumberland, MD., he married Patricia A. Tallman who survives along with three children Edward L. of N. Dighton, MA., Kelleen J. Yedlosky of Flinton and Cheryl R. Gittens of Wilkes-Barre, numerous grand and great-grandchildren and two siblings Leona Baum of Coalport and Robert of Patton. He was also preceded in death by two brothers Patrick and Edward and a sister Vesta Landrus.
Known as Lee, he retired in 1988 as a machinist from Dixon Industries, Bristol, RI. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Glasgow.
At Lee’s request, there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
