Francis Gondek

     Mr. Gondek, 63, Fallentimber, died Monday, August 29, 2010 at his residence following a lengthy illness.  He was born February 16, 1948 in Philipsburg, a son of the late Frank Gondek and Clara Ann (Brink) Gondek Mack who survives of Coalport.  Also surviving is a son Michael B. of Altoona, 2 granddaughters and a brother Richard D. and his wife Tammera of Morrisdale.  He was also preceded in death by a brother Frankie.  
     He was a 1967 graduate of Reade Twp. High School and served in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the Coalport VFW and of the Glendale Sportsmen’s Club.
     Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow followed by military honors at the funeral home by the Coalport VFW.
