Mrs. Miller, 105, Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg and formerly of Utahville form 1930 to 2009, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the home. She was born February 25, 1906 in Gill Hollow, a daughter of the late Amos L. and Loda G. (Alexander) Glass and on December 21, 1932 in Clearfield married Lawrence B. Miller who died November 3, 1970. She was the mother of George A. (Barbara) Miller of Birmingham, MI. and the late LaRue Hollen, grandmother of Sharon Hollen of Mullins, SC, Wayne Hollen of Durham, NC, Robert Miller of Chicago, IL and Susan Miller of Ferndale, MI, greatgrandmother of three and greatgreatgrandmother of 1. She was a sister of Margaret Mussen of Cromwell, CT. and the late Elliott, Leonard, Essie Baker, Mary Dillon, Dessie Faretta, Loda Bean and Isabell Mason. Also surviving is a son-in-law Cloyd Hollen of Franklin, PA.
She was a member of the former Utahville Grange and the daughters of the American Revolution. She was a member of the Utahville United Methodist, where she had perfect attendance for over 50 years and where funeral services will be held Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Barry Weyant officiating. Friends will be received Friday 6-8 pm and Saturday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow and Sunday 2 until the hour of services at the church. Interment in Utahville Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contribution be made to the Utahville United Methodist Church.
