Elizabeth Mae "Betty" (Brown) Thompson

Mrs. Thompson, 95, of Blandburg, died Thursday, March 12, 2026 at her residence. She was born June 29, 1930, in Blandburg, a daughter of the late Wyman H. and Bertha C. (Ralston) Brown.  On March 20, 1949, in Mahaffey, she married Floyd J. Thompson, who died October 14, 2006.  She is survived by a son James E. Thompson, with whom she resided, and a brother Robert Brown of Blandburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters Shirley Edmiston and June Patterson.

     Betty had been a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Glasgow and was a published poet.

     Friends and family are invited to her viewing on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 2-3 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.  Burial will be beside her husband in Cambria Mills Cemetery.
