Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" (Johns) Salsgiver

     Mrs. Salsgiver, 74, Blandburg, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at her residence.  She was born September 12, 1946, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Norman R. and Sarah E. (Wilber) Johns.  Affectionately known as Betsy, she married Danny R. Salsgiver on January 14, 2000 in Winchester, VA.  Danny survives along with four children Johnny Cooney, Jr. of Grafton, OH., Kelly A. (Dave) Franks and Heather A. Cooney and her significant other Donnie Rickard, of Blandburg and Tracie A. (John) Greene of Bellwood, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two siblings Norma Fike of Williamsport and David Johns in Delaware.

     Betsy was a 1964 graduate of Bellwood High School, was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Glasgow and the Reade Volunteer Fire Company Ladies’ Auxiliary.  She loved playing bingo and sewing.

     Viewing will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.  Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
