Eleanor Jean (Scott) Wilkinson

     Mrs. Wilkinson, 101, a resident of Graystone Manor at Bellemeade, Altoona, and formerly of Blandburg, died Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the manor.   She was born January 12, 1919, in Glasgow, a daughter of the late Edward R. and Elizabeth W. (Waple) Scott.  On October 10, 1942, in Duncansville, she married Harry L. “Bud” Wilkinson who died December 9, 1992.  Surviving is her daughter Cheryl J. (Jake) Lewis of Williamsburg, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a son Mark, a sister Gloria Rossi and a brother Edward Scott, Jr.

     Jean was a 1936 graduate of Reade Twp. High School, had worked at Lovell’s Store in Blandburg as a cashier and was a member of the Blandburg United Methodist Church.

     Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, July 10, 2020 from 3:00 pm until the funeral services at 5:00 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow with Pastor Ben Warfel officiating.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contribution to the Central PA Humane Society  1837 E.
