Edward R. DeMelio

     Mr. DeMelio, 48, Bardonia, NY., died Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Englewood Hospital, Englewood, NJ.  Born January 13, 1968 in Nyack, NY., he was a son the late Edward R. DeMelio, Sr. and Shirley M. (Hugill) DeMelio who survives of Bardonia.  On April 4, 1998 in Wanaque, NJ. he married Lisa S. Ensler who also survives along with four children Casey M. Bailey of Altoona, Alexis S., Emily E. and Anthony E., all at home.  Also surviving are six siblings Robert A. Reiger of Bardonia, NY., Ronnie D. DeMelio of York, Diana S. Grobaski of Lake Worth, FL., Donna M. Riddle of Clearfield, Dorothy A. Gallaher and Darlene A. Peters, both of Irvona.  Edward also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter and a nephew Gary Peters, Jr.

     Edward grew up in the Mahaffey area, graduating from Mt. Calvary Christian Academy, Mahaffey in 1985.  He then moved back to New York.  He was employed as an auto body repairman by G&B Auto Body of Nanuet, NY.

     Friends will be received 6-9 pm Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Calvary Chapel Church, Mahaffey where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am with Rev. David Brady officiating.  Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Hastings.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Edward’s name to: Calvary Chapel Church, 20 Chapel Campground Road, Mahaffey, PA.  15757.  McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, is in charge of local arrangements.
