Mr. Snyder, 77, a resident of the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, and formerly of Fallentimber, died Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the home.
He was born December 12, 1941, in Dean, a son of the late David B. and Ruth I. (Zimmerman) Snyder. He is survived by one brother Richard Snyder of Fiske and was preceded in death by five sisters Edna Bush, Myrtle Morris, Mildred Strong, Juanita Wolfinger and Gloria Mentzer and five brothers Ronald, David, Lee, Phillip and James.
Donnie was a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Richard L. Beers VFW Post #7043 in Coalport. He had been a welder in York, Blair and Cambria counties as well as a local logger.
It was Donnie’s wishes that there be no viewing and/or services. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
