Donald B. Richards

     Mr. Richards, 70, Glasgow, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at his residence from an apparent heart attack.  He was born July 3, 1938, in Glasgow, a son of the late Vere and Vyrl M. (McClellan) Richards.  On July 4, 1959, in Glasgow, he married Bessie V. Beals who survives along with 3 sons Terry B. of Suffolk, VA., Doug M. of Flinton and Donnie J. of Glasgow and 2 daughters Lori A. and Chris K. both of Glasgow.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 8 greatgrandchildren and a brother Allen S. “Pep“ of Glasgow.  He retired as a “hot shot” self employed trucker and had worked at the former Hommer Lumber Co. and Clearfield Cheese.
     Friends will be received at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 and Friday from noon until the 1:00 services officiated by Rev. Ben Warfel.  Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
