Mr. Ammerman, 81, Van Ormer, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at his residence from an apparent heart attack. He was born November 10,1941 in Van Ormer, a son of the late Denver R. and Lenore I. (Cuomo) Ammerman, Sr. On August 23, 1964, in Winchester, VA., he married Joyce E. Frye who survives along with a son Shawn W. (Ocean) Ammerman of Fallentimber, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law Sue Ammerman of Blandburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Denver R. Ammerman, III and two sisters Mary McMasters and Nancy Fink
Denny was employed as a miner for Bethlehem Mines #33, Ebensburg for 20 years. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed riding ATV side by sides.
. He attended the Mountaindale Baptist Church where a memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 25, 2023 with Pastor Ben Warfel officiating. Friends and family will be received at the church Saturday from1:00 pm until the hour of services. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
