Debra Ann (Stefancik) McElheny

     Mrs. McElheny, 71, of Blandburg, died Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at her home following an extended illness.  Born October 22, 1953 in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late Pete and C. June (Patterson) Stefancik.  On May 31, 1975, in Blandburg, she married John A. McElheny who survives along with son Shawn A. (Dishonta) McElheny, daughter Kelly Jo M. (Danny) Dotts of Fallentimber, two grandsons Theoren McElheny and Braylon McElheny, a sister Patricia S. Frank and her partner Paul Hockenberry and nephew Eric Frank and his family all of Flinton.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Marrying into a large family she is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.

     Deb was a 1972 graduate of Glendale High School and enjoyed crafting for family and her church. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Frugality where a funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 6, 2025 with Fr. Robert Reese officiating.  Friends will be received on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, where a vigil service will be held during the evening visitation.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
