Clara Zimmerman Obituary
Mrs. Zimmerman, 81, Coalport, died Monday, November 25, 2019 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born on April 12, 1938, in Smithmill, a daughter of the late Andrew and Edith (Delfosse) Waite. On September 16, 1967, in Winchester, VA., she married Charles E. Zimmerman who died January 21, 1990. She is survived by six children Mary A. O’Donnell of Beccaria, George E. Simmons, Jr. of Chesapeake, VA., Phoebe M. Hockenberry and Louise A. Shomo, both of Coalport, Charles E. Zimmerman of Smithmill and William G. Zimmerman of Ramey. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and a sister Elnora Tackett in Florida. She was also preceded in death by a grandson William Simmons, three brothers Andrew, Samuel and Zebuail and two sisters Phoebe Campbell and Louise Selvage.
