Bessie V. (Beals) Richards

     Mrs. Richards, 67, Glasgow, died Monday, August 31, 2009 at her residence.  She was born November 21, 1941, in Irvona, a daughter of the late James and Faye (Meckley) Beals.  On July 4, 1959, in Glasgow she married Donald B. Richards who died January 6. 2009.  Surviving are 3 sons Terry B. of Suffolk, VA., Doug M. of Flinton and Donnie J. of Glasgow and 2 daughters Lori A. and Chris K. both of Glasgow.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 8 greatgrandchildren and 6 siblings:  Eleanor Huey of Sanborn, Dorothy Baum of St. Augustine, Leroy, Harold and Clifford all of Fallentimber and David of Coalport..  She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers Dick and Bob and a sister Marcella.  She retired as a seamstress from DDJ Clothing in Madera.
     Friends will be received at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 and Thursday from noon until the 1:00 services officiated by Rev. Ben Warfel.  Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
