Bernice M. (Burris) Berger

     Mrs. Berger, Schellsburg and formerly of Blandburg, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at her mother’s home in Blandburg.  She was born October 2, 1955 in Hazleton a daughter of the late H. Wendell Burris and Gloria M. (Lightner) Burris.  On December 13, 1978, in Johnstown, she married William M. Berger who survives along with her mother, two stepsons William D. Berger and Robert V. Berger, both of Johnstown and three sisters Dr. N. Lorraine Gerlach of Pocatello, ID., Sherry Hurt of Hanford, CA. and Shelby Roth of Blandburg.  She was also preceded in death by a brother David.

     She was a 1974 graduate of Glendale High School.

     Friends will be received 2-6 pm Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.  Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm with Pastor Jon Hommer officiating.  Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
