Mr. Kutch, 55, Pittsburgh, formerly of Hollentown, died Friday, November 12, 2010 at the HJ Heinz VAMC, Aspinwall.. Born June 15, 1955 in Philipsburg a son of the late Bernard P. Kutch and A. Elaine (Nelson) Kutch of Hollentown.. He was also preceded in death by his wife, the former Janet Long. Also surviving is a son Gregory M. of Derry, 2 sisters Deborah Mattern of Clearfield and Donna Hartian of Yorktown, VA.; 3 brothers: Curtis and Daniel both of Altoona and David of Hollentown and numerous nieces and nephews.
He had served as a Seaman 1st Class in the Navy during the Vietnam War and had been a member of the Naval Drum and Bugle Corp.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 11:00am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Frugality, with Fr. Sean Code officiating. Interment in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton. Friends received at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, Tuesday 3-7 and Wednesday 10 am until departing for the church. A vigil service will be held Tuesday afternoon. Military honors by Coalport VFW.
