Ann (Kowalczyk) Kowalsky

     Ms. Kowalsky, 82, Glasgow, died Wednesday, September 8, 2004, at Bon Secours Holy Family Hospital, Altoona.  She was born May 17, 1922, in Mount Union, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Catherine (Furman) Kowalczyk.  Surviving are two sisters Felicia Loop of Mount Union and Kathryn Cmor of Glasgow.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers Michael, Nicholas and Stephen and five sisters Helen Kowalsky, Stella McClure, Mary, Catherine and Mary.

     Ann had been a Nurse's Aide and was a member of St. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church in Mount Union.

     Visitation will from 5:00 pm Saturday September 11, 2004 until the time of the 4:00 pm funeral services on Sunday, September 12, 2004, all at the family home, St. Philips' Sanctuary, Glasgow.  Fr. Mirosla Kulik will officiate and burial will be in Holy Resurrection Cemetery, Glasgow.
