Alverta M. (Morrow) Lovell

     Mrs. Lovell, 89, Allemans, died Monday, October 8, 2007 at her residence.  She was born November 29, 1917 in Glasgow a daughter of the late Lloyd J. and Naomi C. (Cree) Morrow.  On July 16, 1938, in Philipsburg, she married Eugene C. Lovell who died October 30, 1991.  Surviving are 2 sons: Nelson B. (Joyce Roub) and Vonn W. (Sonia Hanna) both of Allemans, 6 grandchildren, 20 greatgrandchildren and 6 greatgreatgrandchildren.  Also surviving are 5 siblings: Marie Benn of Linden, Olive Carlson of Boston, MA., Beatrice Myers of Pleasant Gap, Everett of Glasgow and George of Bellwood.  
     She was a 1936 graduate of Reade Twp. High School and was a cook at Moshannon Valley High School for 20 years, retiring in 1980.
     Friends will be received Wednesday 10:00 am until the hour of services at noon at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow with Rev. Ben Warfel officiating.  Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow
