Alan M. Harbula

    Mr. Harbula, 49, Altoona, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at ARHS-Altoona from an apparent heart attack.  Born September 26, 1962 in Altoona a son of the late Joseph M. Harbula and Sarah M. “Sally” (Shaheen) Harbula of Bellwood.  Also surviving is a brother Joseph E. Harbula and his wife Vickie of Bellwood.  Alan’s longtime girlfriend Sandy Sakala of Altoona also survives.  
     Alan was a 1980 graduate of Altoona High School and was a custodial manager for Sandy’s Cleaning Service, Altoona.
      Friends will be received Tuesday, July 24, from 3:00 pm until the 4:00 pm memorial services at New Life Worship Center, Pinecroft with Pastor Wayne Schaffer officiating. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Central PA Humane Society, Altoona.
