Agnes M. (Stanton) Jenkins

     Mrs. Jenkins, 88, Valley View Home and formerly of Blandburg, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at ARHS-Altoona Hospital Campus  She was born October 2, 1922 in Julian, a daughter of the late William and Sarah F. (Campbell) Stanton and on June 18, 1947, in Flinton married John S. Jenkins, Sr.  He died August 18, 1993.  Surviving are children Phyllis J. Hockenberry and John S. Jenkins, Jr., both of Hollentown, Eugene C. Jenkins of Bellwood, Sharon J. Killen of Cresson, Carol A. Sahm of Blandburg and Sandy K. Rinker of Dysart, 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grand and greatgreatgrandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a son James, a brother William and 3 sisters Mary Miller, Ella Stanton and Geraldine Sible.
     Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 6-8pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
