Mr. Campbell, 30, of Altoona, died Saturday, November 6, 2021, at UPMC-Altoona. He was born February 25, 1991, in Altoona, a son of Stephen J. Campbell of Altoona and the late Tammy E. (Knapp) Kaup who died a few hours before him. Aaron is also survived by a brother Jeremy R. (Krista “his sister”) Knapp of Altoona, niece and nephew Gabriella and Jeremiah Knapp, paternal grandparents Regis and Teresa Campbell of Altoona, uncles Terry, Regis and Pat Campbell, aunts Caroline Lynn and Sue Ponchock and cousins AlexRae, Sarah, Jordan, Andy and Samantha, Shawn Wieczorek and Scott (Davina) Wieczorek and their children Kylie and Cory..
Known as “AA” or “Double A” he was a 2010 graduate of Altoona High School and had been employed as a ticket taker at Carmike Cinemas, and most recently as a stockboy at Burlington Coat Factory, Altoona. He also had been employed by Skills of Altoona. AA was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God where he was a worship team drummer, greatly enjoyed collecting fire extinguishers, bowling, fishing and watching trains.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 2:00 pm until the 4:00 pm funeral service at Trans4mation Church, 1001 S. First St., Altoona, PA. 16601 with Pastor Herb Wireback officiating.
