Shirley L. (Brown) Edmiston

     Mrs. Edmiston, 82, Blandburg, died Friday, November 23, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 25, 1936 in Altoona a daughter of the late Wyman H. and Bertha C. (Ralston) Brown.  On May 12, 1956 in Blandburg she married Robert R. Edmiston who died August 13, 1989.  Surviving is a son Robert A. Edmiston of Ebensburg, two granddaughters Sandy (Mike) Rhodes of Altoona and Krystle Edmiston of Mill Hall and two great-grandchildren Camden and Gianna Rhodes.  Also surviving are two siblings Robert W. Brown and Elizabeth A. Thompson, both of Blandburg.  She was also preceded in death by a sister June Patterson.

     Shirley was a 1953 graduate of Reade Twp. High School and had been employed as an assembly line production worker at the former Proctor-Silex Company, Altoona.
