Mr. Frank, 79, died Saturday, October 30, 2004, at his residence. He was born December 30, 1924, in Blandburg, a son of the later Fred C. and Regina A. (Warner) Frank. On April 17, 1948, in Bellwood, he married Helen E. Scott who survives along with a son Daniel J. (Patty) Frank of Blandburg, one grandson Eric and two siblings Kay Maiocco of Blandburg and Fred Frank of Altoona. He was also preceded in death by two sisters Margaret Miller and Louise Reardon.
Jim was a 1942 graduate of Reade Twp. High School and retired in 1984 as a Selector at A&P Produce Warehouse, Altoona. He served in the United States Army as a Sergeant during World War II and was a member of the Bellwood Eagles and the Tyrone American Legion.
He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Frugality, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 2, 2004, with Fr. George Gulash officiting. Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow where a Vigil Service will also be held. Burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery, Glasgow.
